1989 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships
The 1989 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships were the 43rd annual championships to determine the national champions of NCAA Division I men's singles, doubles, and team collegiate tennis in the United States. Stanford defeated Georgia, 5–3, in the final of the team championship to win their second consecutive and tenth overall title. Host site The tournaments were played at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. The men's and women's tournaments would not be held at the same venue until 2006. The Ole Miss Rebels tennis program represents the University of Mississippi in both men's and women's NCAA Division I Southeastern Conference play. 2009 Ole Miss men's tennis team Ole Miss men’s tennis head coach Billy Chadwick was named both the SEC Coach Of the Year and the USPTA National College Coach of the Year. Ole Miss men’s tennis freshman Devin Britton was named the Southeast Region Rookie of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Ole Miss men’s tennis team finished the 2009 season atop the second annual ITA Attendance Race standings for regular season home matches. Ole Miss drew 5,550 fans to its matches this season. The Kentucky Wildcats are the men's and women's intercollegiate athletic squads of the University of Kentucky (UK), a founding member of the Southeastern Conference. TCU Horned Frogs Men's Tennis
The TCU Horned Frogs men's tennis team represents Texas Christian University in NCAA Division I college tennis. The team is part of the Big 12 Conference and plays home matches at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The Horned Frogs are currently led by head coach David Roditi, who was a three-time All-American in his playing days at TCU.
