The 1989 Bulgarian Supercup was the first Bulgarian Supercup match, a Football (soccer), football match which was contested between the A PFG, "A" professional football group champion, CSKA Sofia, and the runner-up of Bulgarian Cup, FC Chernomorets Burgas, Chernomorets Burgas. The match was held on 1 August 1989 at the Chernomorets Stadium in Burgas, Bulgaria. CSKA beat Chernomorets 1–0 after to win their first Bulgarian Supercup. CSKA Sofia
CSKA Sofia ( bg, ЦСКА София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia and currently competing in the country's premier football competition, the First League. ''CSKA'' is an abbreviation for ''Central Sports Club of the Army'' ( bg, Централен Спортен Клуб на Армията). Petar Vitanov (footballer, Born 1967)
Petar Ivo Vitanov ( bg, Петър Иво Витанов; born 10 March 1995) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Chinese Super League club Tianjin Jinmen Tiger. Vitanov began his career with CSKA Sofia. After progressing into the first team, he made his senior debut in December 2013. However, he struggled to establish himself in the first team, making 32 appearances during a four-year spell. He was released by CSKA in 2017 and joined Vereya. In January 2018, Vitanov signed with Cherno More Varna, before moving to Lokomotiv Plovdiv in June 2019. Club career Vitanov started his career at home-town club CSKA Sofia, joining their youth system as a seven-year-old. Dimitar Dushkov Penev ( bg, Димитър Душков Пенев, born 12 July 1945) is a Bulgarian football coach and former player and central defender of CSKA Sofia. He played 90 games for Bulgaria national football team and scored two goals. Lyuboslav Mladenov Penev ( bg, Любослав Младенов Пенев; born 31 August 1966) is a Bulgarian professional football manager and former player. Penev played as a forward for several clubs in Bulgaria and Spain. He started his career at CSKA Sofia in 1984, winning two Bulgarian League titles and four Bulgarian Cups. In 1989 he moved to Valencia, where he established himself as among the most prolific goalscorers in La Liga. After six seasons at Valencia, Penev joined Atlético Madrid, winning the 1995–96 La Liga.
