Gene Keady
Lloyd Eugene Keady (born May 21, 1936) is an American basketball coach. He is best known for his 25 years serving as the head men's basketball coach at Purdue University in Indiana. In his tenure leading the Boilermakers from 1980 to 2005, he went to the NCAA Tournament seventeen times, twice advancing to the Elite Eight. Personal life Keady was born in Larned, Kansas on May 21, 1936. He graduated from Larned High School. He had two children with his first wife. He married his second wife, Patricia, in 1981 and adopted her daughter. They were married until her death in 2009. He has been married since 2012 to Kathleen Petrie. Ball State Cardinals Men's Basketball
The Ball State Cardinals men's basketball team represents Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. The Cardinals first basketball season was 1920–21. The school's team currently competes in the Mid-American Conference. The team last played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2000.
