The 1987–88 FC Bayern Munich season was the 88th season in the club's history and 23rd season since promotion from Regionalliga Süd in 1965. Bayern Munich finished as runner-up in the Bundesliga to SV Werder Bremen. The club reached the quarterfinals of both the DFB-Pokal and the European Cup. John Bosman
Johannes "John" Jacobus Bosman (born 1 February 1965) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a striker. Lars Lunde (born 21 March 1964) is a Danish former professional football player, who played in the striker position. Lunde got his breakthrough with Brøndby IF in 1983, and he made his debut for the Denmark national football team in October 1983.
