Kari Elisabeth Kaski
Kari Elisabeth Kaski (born 12 July 1987) is a Norwegian politician. A member of the Socialist Left Party, she has been an MP for Oslo since 2017, and the second vice chair of the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs since 2021. Personal life and education Born in Kirkenes, Kaski studied at the BI Norwegian Business School, the University of Oslo, and the University of Burgundy. She is the sister of Ragnhild Kaski, a former general secretary of the Workers' Youth League. She is married to fellow party member Ola Wolff Elvevold, with whom she has one child. She was originally going to give birth to twins but one died before it was born. Political career Party politics Kaski is currently the party's spokesperson on finance. Ludvig Olai Botnen
Ludvig Olai Botnen (27 March 1910 – 29 April 1987) was a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party. He was born in Førde. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Sogn og Fjordane in 1961, and was re-elected on one occasion. He had previously been a deputy representative in the periods 1950–1953 and 1954–1957. Botnen was deputy mayor of Florø municipality in 1954, and mayor in 1955, 1955–1957 and 1959–1961. He then served as mayor of Flora in 1975–1979. At that point he had held various positions in local politics in Florø and Flora for 34 years. He headed the party chapter on county level from 1951 to 1960. Outside politics he worked in newspapers. Trygve Owren
Trygve Owren (7 October 1912 – 3 March 1987) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oppland in 1965, but was not re-elected in 1969. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1958–1961 and 1961–1965. During his second term as a deputy, in September 1963, he replaced the deceased Guttorm Granum. Knut Frydenlund (31 March 1927 – 26 February 1987) was a Norwegian diplomat and politician for the Labour Party who served as foreign minister from 1973–1981 and again from 1986–1987. Frydenlund was born in Drammen and began his diplomatic career in the 1950s, initially serving at the Norwegian embassy in Bonn, and served in various diplomatic positions during the 1950s and the 1960s. In 1969 he was elected to parliament as a member of the Norwegian Labour Party, and he became foreign minister in the Labour government in 1973. While Labour was out of power from 1981 to 1986, he was replaced as foreign minister by Svenn Thorkild Stray, but returned to the office in May 1986. In February 1987, following his return from a Nordic Council meeting in Helsinki, he collapsed at Oslo's Fornebu Airport due to a cerebral hemorrhage and died soon afterwards at Ullevaal Hospital in Oslo. Tove Agnethe Pihl (21 December 1924 – 20 January 1987) was a Norwegian educator and politician for the Labour Party. She was born in Kristiania as the daughter of professor in medicine Otto Lous Mohr and the noted activist Tove Mohr. Her maternal grandmother was Katti Anker Møller. Tove Pihl graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Rochester in 1948, and with a Master of Arts degree in pedagogy from the University of Chicago in 1949. She then worked as a school teacher and rector in Oslo, and was a member of the city school board from 1956. She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo in 1969, but was not re-elected in 1973. During her term, she was a member of the Standing Committee of Justice.
