1987 King Cup
The 1987 King Cup was the 29th season of the knockout competition since its establishment in 1956. Al-Nassr were the defending champions and successfully defended their title by beating Al-Hilal 1–0 in the final. They became the first team since Al-Ahli in 1979 to successfully defend the title. Quarter-finals The Quarter-final matches were held on 2 March 1987. Semi-finals The four winners of the quarter-finals progressed to the semi-finals. The semi-finals were played on 6 March 1987. All times are local, AST (UTC+3). Final The final was played between city rivals Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr at the Youth Welfare Stadium in Al-Malaz, Riyadh. Al Nassr Football Club ( ar, نادي النصر السعودي; ''An-Nasr, Naṣr'' meaning ''Victory'') is a Saudi Arabian Association football, football club based in Riyadh. Al-Ahli Saudi FC
Al-Ahli Saudi Football Club ( ar, النادي الأهلي السعودي) is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Jeddah, that competes in the second division of Saudi Arabian football, following their relegation from the Saudi Professional League in the 2021–22 season. The club was founded in 1937. Domestically, Al-Ahli has won three Saudi Professional Leagues, holds record of 13 King's Cups, six Crown Prince Cups, one General League Shield, and one Super Cup. In international club football, they have won a record shared of 3 GCC Champions League and 1 Arab Club Championship. The first Saudi club combined the league and the King's Cup in the same season in 1968, and is the only club to do it twice - in 1978 and 2016. Mohammed Al-Shalqan
Muhammad ( ar, مُحَمَّد; 570 – 8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious, social, and political leader and the founder of Islam. According to Islamic doctrine, he was a prophet divinely inspired to preach and confirm the monotheistic teachings of Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. He is believed to be the Seal of the Prophets within Islam. Muhammad united Arabia into a single Muslim polity, with the Quran as well as his teachings and practices forming the basis of Islamic religious belief. Muhammad was born approximately 570CE in Mecca. He was the son of Abdullah ibn Abd al-Muttalib and Amina bint Wahb. His father Abdullah was the son of Quraysh tribal leader Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim, and he died a few months before Muhammad's birth.
