Monica's Gang (TV Series)
''Monica and Friends'' (known as ''Turma da Mônica'' in Brazil, ''Mónica e Amigos'' in the European Portuguese dub and ''Monica's Gang'' in past translations) is a Brazilian series of cartoons based on the comic book ''Monica and Friends'' by Mauricio de Sousa. The series runs on Cartoon Network and previously on Globo, but in 2014, Globo stopped to air the series. Six DVDs with episodes of the series were released, distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment. Globo displayed the newest episodes of the DVDs. New episodes were released in nine ''Cine Gibi'' movies. New episodes are posted on the programme's official YouTube channel after they air on Cartoon Network. Episodes ''Monica and Friends'' has over 200 episodes. Almost each episode is part of each film. Sítio Do Picapau Amarelo (1977 TV Series)
''Sítio do Picapau Amarelo'' is a Brazilian children's television series, which aired on Rede Globo from 1977 to 1986. It was produced in partnership with TVE and the Brazilian Ministry of Education, It was the fourth television adaptation of the homonymous work by Monteiro Lobato, after the first version shown by Rede Tupi between 1952 and 1963, the second version shown by TV Cultura in 1964 and 1965 and the third version shown by Band between 1967 and 1969. Plot Dona Benta is an old lady who lives in Sítio do Pica-Pau Amarelo, a rural property away from the rush and noise of the big city. With her also lives "Tia Nastácia" the maid and her granddaughter Lúcia, better known as Narizinho (little nose). Balão Mágico (TV Series)
("Magic Balloon") was a children's television program in Brazil that aired between 1983 and 1986. The children, who were the main stars of the program, were also part of a children's musical group, Turma do Balão Mágico ("The Magic Balloon Gang"), which was active between 1982 and 1986. The show introduced the popular character Fofão. Balão Mágico aired on Brazilian television network Rede Globo from 1983–1986. The show's success led to Fofão receiving a solo show after Balão Mágico ended in 1986. Mariana Rios
Mariana Rios Botelho (born 4 July 1985) is a Brazilian actress and singer-songwriter. Biography Rios began singing at age seven. To begin her career, she moved to Uberaba, where she played several gigs with local bar bands. She participated in music festivals and was hired by a studio to sing jingles. At 15 she moved to Rio de Janeiro and graduated in Casa de Arte das Laranjeiras. Before joining the cast of the telenovela ''Malhação'', she participated in two musicals with Oswaldo Montenegro. In 2008, she joined the cast of the telenovela ''Malhação'' as Yasmin, a 17-year-old girl whose parents are often absent and try to compensate this by buying her expensive gifts.
