1984–85 Copa Del Rey
The 1984–85 Copa del Rey was the 83rd staging of the Copa del Rey, Spanish Cup, the annual domestic Association football, football cup competition in Spain. The tournament was attended by 142 teams from the higher echelons of Spanish football. The tournament began on 12 September 1984 and ended on 30 June 1985 with the final, held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid. The final was played between Athletic Bilbao (the defending champions of the tournament), and Atlético Madrid. The match ended with a 2–1 victory for the team from the capital, with Hugo Sánchez as the star, scoring two goals. With this victory Atlético secured their sixth cup, making them the team with the fourth-most titles in the competition. Andoni Zubizarreta Urreta (, ; born 23 October 1961) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. The all-time most capped player for the Spain national team for several years, he played with individual and team success for Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona (eight years with the latter, he would later work with the club in directorial capacities), appearing in more than 950 official professional matches during his club career and holding the records for most appearances and clean sheets in La Liga for several years. Luis Aragonés Suárez (; 28 July 1938 – 1 February 2014) was a Spanish football player and manager. Aragonés spent the majority of his career as a player and coach at Atlético Madrid. He was a prominent player and then coach of the successful Atlético team of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The team were List of Spanish football champions, national champions four times, reached the 1974 European Cup Final. Between 1964 and 1974, he played 265 La Liga, Primera Liga games for Atlético and scored 123 goals. Juan José Enríquez Gómez (born 4 November 1950), commonly known as Juanjo, was a Spanish retired footballer who played as a central defender, and a former manager. Notable for his strength and tight marking, he amassed 130 matches and four goals in La Liga, mainly while representing Salamanca. As a manager, he rarely settled with a club. Enrique 'Quique' Ramos González (born 7 March 1956) is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder.
