1984 Africa Cup Of Nations
The 1984 African Cup of Nations was the 14th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa ( CAF). It was hosted by Ivory Coast. Just like in 1982, the field of eight teams was split into two groups of four. Cameroon won its first championship, beating Nigeria in the final 3−1. Taher Abouzaid
Amer Taher Abou Zeid Alsayed, publicly known as Taher Abou Zeid, or Taher Abouzaid ( both are correct translations from the original alphabet in ar, عامر طاهر أبو زيد السيد) is the Egyptian Minister of State for Sports and a retired Association football, footballer. He played as a midfielder for Al Ahly SC, Al Ahly and the Egypt national football team, Egyptian national team. Ibrahim Aoudou (23 August 1955 – 19 April 2022) was a Cameroonian former professional footballer who played as a defender. He was born in Mbalmayo. He competed for the Cameroon national team at the 1982 FIFA World Cup as a winger. Bonaventure Djonkep
Bonaventure Djonkep (born 20 August 1961) is a former Cameroonian association football player and coach. Djonkep spent his entire playing career between the 1982 and 1995 at Union Douala, winning one Cameroonian League title in 1990 and one Cameroonian Cup in 1985. Internationally Djonkep first played for Cameroon U20 at the 1981 FIFA World Youth Championship, appearing in all three of their group matches and scoring two goals against Australia U20. As a full international he appeared in two qualifying matches for the 1986 FIFA World Cup against Zambia in April 1985. He then played for Cameroon in the 1987 All-Africa Games and in the 1988 African Cup of Nations. Ali Ben Nasser (also spelled Ali Bennaceur, ar, علي بن ناصر; born 2 March 1944) is a Tunisian former football referee. 1986 FIFA World Cup Argentina-England refereeing dispute Nasser refereed the match between Argentina and England in the 1986 FIFA World Cup, where the " Hand of God" and the "Goal of the Century" were scored by Argentine captain Diego Maradona to win the match.
