1983 FIFA World Youth Championship
The 1983 FIFA World Youth Championship was the fourth edition FIFA World Youth Championship tournament, hosted from 2 June to 19 June 1983 in seven venues in Mexico — Guadalajara, Irapuato, León, Mexico City, Monterrey, Puebla and Toluca — where a total of 32 matches were played. Brazil U20 defeated Argentina, 1–0, at Mexico City's Azteca Stadium to claim its inaugural tournament title of five. This edition still retains the record average daily attendance of 36,099 in the tournament's history. Rod Brown (soccer)
Rod Brown (born 27 January 1964) is an Australian former soccer player. Brown earned seven caps, including two full international caps, for the Socceroos. Both those full international caps were against New Zealand in 1987. Brown also played for several clubs in the National Soccer League. He scored the second goal in the Brisbane Strikers 2–0 win over Sydney United in the 1996-97 NSL Grand Final at Lang Park. When he retired he held the record for most NSL goals scored (137 goals). Danny Wright (footballer)
Daniel Paul Wright (born 10 September 1984) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for Gloucester City. He operates in the target man role, using his height to his advantage. He has played ten seasons in the National League in service of eight clubs, totalling over 100 goals across more than 300 games. He added 74 games and 12 goals in EFL League Two for Cheltenham Town, already in his 30s. In his career he won the Conference South with Histon in 2007, the FA Trophy with Wrexham in 2013 and the National League for Cheltenham in 2016. Brisbane City Football Club is an Australian semi-professional football club based in Newmarket, Brisbane, Queensland.
