1982 Soviet Cup
The 1982 Soviet Cup was an association football cup competition of the Soviet Union. The winner of the competition, Dinamo Kiev qualified for the continental tournament. FC SKA Rostov-na-Donu
FC SKA Rostov-on-Don (russian: ФК СКА Ростов-на-Дону) is a Russian association football club based in Rostov-on-Don. The club's history includes becoming runners-up of the Soviet Top League in 1966 and winning the Soviet Cup in 1981. History The club was founded on 27 August 1937 and was known as ''RODKA'' (1937–1953), ''ODO'' (1954–1956) and ''SKVO'' (1957–1959 and 2013–2015). The team was given its most familiar name back in March 2015. SKVO entered the Class B of the Soviet league in 1958. Prior to that, the team only played in regional tournaments. SKVO became the champions of Class B in 1958 and were promoted to Class A. They stayed at the top level of Soviet football until 1973, winning silver medals in 1966 and finishing fourth in 1959, 1960, 1963, and 1964. FC Metalist Kharkiv
Football Club Metalist Kharkiv ( uk, Футбо́льний Клуб Металі́ст Ха́рків ) is a Ukrainian football club based in Kharkiv that plays in the Ukrainian First League during the 2021–22 season. It was revived 5 years after the original FC Metalist Kharkiv ceased operations. Founded in 1925, FC Metalist Kharkiv had worked its way up the rungs of the Soviet football system, eventually being promoted to the Soviet Top League in 1960. After a difficult period which included relegation, Metalist was promoted to the Top League again in 1982, where it remained until the league's dissolution. The club won the Soviet Cup once, and were also runners-up once. They have also won silver medals of the 2012–13 Ukrainian Premier League and six bronze medals of the Ukrainian Premier League, starting from the 2006–07 season. MFC Metalurh Zaporizhzhia ( uk, Футбо́льний клуб «Металу́рг» Запорі́жжя ) is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Zaporizhzhia. Reestablished in 2017, it is a "phoenix club" of the original Soviet factory team Metalurh that existed in 1935–2016. SKA Lviv was a Soviet multi-sports club founded in Lviv, Ukrainian SSR. The club was created as part of sport section of the Carpathian Military District in 1949 and existed until 1989. As SKA Karpaty the club dissolved the main team was reorganized as SFK Drohobych and moved to Drohobych, Lviv Oblast (see FC Halychyna Drohobych), simultaneously FC Karpaty Lviv was reinstated as well. CSKA Pamir Dushanbe ( tg, Клуби футболи ЦСКА-Помир Душанбе, Klubi Futboli CSKA Pomir Dushanbe; fa, زسکا پامیر دوشنبه) is a professional football club based in Dushanbe, Tajikistan that currently plays in the Tajikistan Higher League, the country's top division. Since 1997, the club has been under the patronage of the Tajik Army, like its former rivals CSKA Dushanbe. Football Club Kairat ( kk, Qaırat Fýtbol Klýby) is a professional football club based in Almaty, which plays in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest level of Kazakh football. FC Kuban (russian: link=no, Футбольный клуб "Кубань" Краснодар) was a Russian football club based in Krasnodar. The team began playing in the Russian Premier League in 2011, after it was promoted for winning the Russian First Division. FC Kuban was one of the oldest football clubs in Russia. Founded as Dynamo of the Krasnodar NKVD, FC Kuban changed its affiliations because of changing politics in the USSR. Club members and fans were called "Kubantsy" () (because of its Kuban, location) or "yellow-greens" (the club colours). The team was also known as the "Cossacks" by fans.
