1982 Nehru Cup
The 1982 Nehru Cup was the first edition of the Nehru Cup. It was held between 16 February to 3 March in Calcutta. Format A total of 6 teams participated in the tournament through being invited by the All India Football Federation. The tournament would be played in a round-robin style with the top two in the final standings then meeting in a final match to crown the champions. Amateur teams and 'B' sides from Europe were invited. Shen Xiangfu
Shen Xiangfu (; ; born May 27, 1957 in Beijing) is a Chinese football coach who is the joint manager of The Regional Preferente de la Comunitat Valenciana side Atlético Museros as well as also being a former international football player. As a player, he was associated with the Beijing Team and Fujitsu before moving into management where he went back to manage both his previous clubs before joining the Chinese national team set-up for several years. When he returned to club management he would guide Guangzhou Pharmaceutical to the 2007 China League One title before having spells at Changchun Yatai and Henan Jianye. Monoranjan Bhattacharya, nicknamed ''Mona'', is a retired Indian professional footballer and football manager. During his playing career, he represented the "Big Two" of Kolkata football, East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. He also represented India in various international tournaments between 1978 and 1989. Mario Daniel Saralegui Iriarte (born 24 April 1959 in Artigas) is a Uruguayan football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Career Having made his official debut on May 31, 1979, against Brazil (1-5), Saralegui obtained a total number of 24 international caps for the Uruguay national football team. He represented his native country at the 1986 FIFA World Cup, wearing the number sixteen jersey. Saralegui played most of his career for Peñarol in Uruguay, the only Uruguayan team he ever played for. Jorge Orosmán da Silva Echeverrito (born 11 December 1961) is a Uruguayan former Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker.
