1981 President's Cup Football Tournament
The 1981 President's Cup Football Tournament ( ko, 제11회 대통령배 국제축구대회) was the 11th competition of Korea Cup. The competition was held from 13 to 26 June 1981. South Korea and Racing de Córdoba played out a 2–2 draw and shared the trophy. Racing De Córdoba
Club Atlético Racing (usually referred as Racing de Córdoba) is an Argentine football club from the city of Córdoba. The team currently plays in Federal A, the regionalised third division of the Argentine football league system. History Racing was founded in the Nueva Italia district of Córdoba on 14 December 1924. Its most successful season came in 1980 when the team finished 2nd in the Nacional championship, after losing the final matches at the hands of Rosario Central, with scores of 1–5 and 2–0 respectively (3–5 on aggregate). At the end of the 2005–06 season the club narrowly missed out on promotion to the Primera B Nacional. Racing had to play San Martín de Tucumán in the Clausura final. After the game ended with an aggregate score of 3–3, the decision went to a penalty shootout which Racing lost 7–6. Daejeon Hanbat Sports Complex ( ko, 대전한밭종합운동장) is a sports complex, comprising a multi-purpose stadium (including athletic facilities and a soccer pitch), a ballpark, Basketball courts, tennis courts and various other sports facilities in Daejeon, South Korea. Daegu Civic Stadium
The Daegu Civic Stadium () was a stadium in Daegu sports complex in Daegu, South Korea. The former main stadium was used mostly for football matches of Daegu FC. During the 1986 Asian Games and 1988 Summer Olympics, it hosted some football matches. The stadium had a capacity of 30,000 (19,467 seats) and opened on 20 April 1948. The stadium was expanded and reconstructed in 1975, and was renovated and repaired on 8 September 2003. The main stadium of the complex was demolished in 2017, and the new DGB Daegu Bank Park was built at the same place. The complex is called “Daegu Complex Sports Town”. Chung Hae-won
Chung Hae-won (, 1 July 1959 – 1 May 2020) was a South Korean football player and coach. International career After winning the 1978 AFC Youth Championship as a member of the national under-20 team, Chung played as a left winger or a striker for senior national team. He scored two crucial goals to give South Korea a 2–1 win over North Korea in the semi-finals of the 1980 AFC Asian Cup, sending his team to the final. Chung was selected for the national team for the 1988 Summer Olympics. However, he was injured during the first match against Soviet Union, and had to finish his competition early. Nobutoshi Kaneda
is a former Japanese football player. He played for Japan national team. Club career Kaneda was born in Fuchu, Hiroshima on February 16, 1958. After graduating from Chuo University, he joined Nissan Motors in 1980. The club won the 1983 and 1985 Emperor's Cups. From 1988 to 1990, the club won all three major titles in Japan: the Japan Soccer League, the JSL Cup, and the Emperor's Cup for two years in a row. He retired in 1991. He played 157 games and scored 21 goals while in the league. He was selected as one of the Best Eleven in 1983. National team career On June 15, 1977, when Kaneda was a Chuo University student, he debuted and scored a goal for the Japan national team against South Korea. Jeonju () is the 16th largest city in South Korea and the capital of North Jeolla Province. Luis Antonio Amuchástegui (born 12 December 1960 in Córdoba) is a former Argentine footballer. He played for a number of clubs in Argentina and represented the Argentina national football team. he played over 200 games for Racing de Córdoba. Amuchástegui started his career with Racing de Córdoba, he was an important member of the team that contested the final of the Nacional championship in 1980. In 1983, he travelled to Spain to join Valencia CF for a fee of US$300,000 but he could not acclimatise to life in Europe and returned to Argentina without signing the contract, Valencia eventually signed Juan Jose Urruti instead, and Amuchástegui spent several months without a club before joining San Lorenzo de Almagro in 1984. After a successful season with San Lorenzo he joined River Plate where he was part of the championship winning team of 1985-1986. He then helped the club to win the Copa Libertadores in 1986.
