National Assembly Of Korea
The National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, often shortened to the National Assembly in domestic English-language media, is the unicameral national legislature of South Korea. Elections to the National Assembly are held every four years. The latest legislative elections were held on 15 April 2020. The National Assembly has 300 seats, with 253 constituency seats and 47 proportional representation seats; 30 of the PR seats are assigned on additional member system, while 17 PR seats use the parallel voting method. The unicameral assembly consists of at least 200 members according to the South Korean constitution. In 1990 the assembly had 299 seats, 224 of which were directly elected from single-member districts in the general elections of April 1988. Choi Sung-hee (born February 28, 1980), known professionally as Bada, is a South Korean singer, composer, musical actress and television presenter. She debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group S.E.S. in 1997. After S.E.S. disbanded in December 2002, she released her first solo studio album, '' A Day of Renew'', in October 2003. Kang Sung-hoon (singer)
Kang Sung-hoon (hangul:강성훈, born February 22, 1980) is a South Korean singer, best known as a former member of the 90s South Korean boy group Sechs Kies. While in Sechskies, Sunghoon was the main vocalist. After SechsKies had disbanded in 2000, Sung-hoon pursued a solo singing career, signed under Laful Entertainment at the time. His nickname Hoony is the title for his third album. Sunghoon joined Sechskies for their reunion in 2016, but left the group in early 2019 due to ongoing scandals. Oh Sang-mi, better known as Sam Oh is a television host, radio broadcaster and a Korean expatriate who has been living in the Philippines for 20 years. She can speak Tagalog and English in addition to her native Korean. She has been the main hostess of ''Rated Oh!'' on Solar Entertainment's ETC cable channel for eight seasons and a columnist of ''The Manila Times''. Oh landed the job on ETC through an audition, which was turned into a reality show. ''A Taxi Driver'' () is a 2017 South Korean historical action drama film directed by Jang Hoon and written by Eom Yu-na, with Song Kang-ho starring in the title role, alongside Thomas Kretschmann, Yoo Hae-jin, and Ryu Jun-yeol. Based on a real-life story, the film centers on a taxi driver from Seoul who unintentionally becomes involved in the events of the Gwangju Uprising in 1980. It is based on German journalist Jürgen Hinzpeter's interactions with driver Kim Sa-bok; however, as Kim's identity and real name were unknown at the time the film was made (Hinzpeter only knew him as "Kim Sa-bok"), most elements regarding his life and the events that happened to him outside of Gwangju are fictional.
