Andre Metzger
Andre Metzger (born 1960) is an American former wrestler. He competed at 62 and 68 kilograms in freestyle wrestling, where he racked up numerous medals from the World Championships and the World Cup, as well as championships from the Pan American Games. In college, Metzger was a two-time NCAA Division I National champion and a four-time All-American at the University of Oklahoma. Career Having started wrestling as a high school freshman, Metzger was a state champion out of Cedar Springs High School in Cedar Springs, Michigan and was successful in folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco-Roman styles. John Peterson (wrestler)
John Allan Peterson (born October 22, 1948, in Cumberland, Wisconsin) is an Americans, American wrestling, wrestler and Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling. Olympics Peterson competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich where he received a silver medal in freestyle wrestling in the middleweight class. He won a gold medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec. Peterson's brother, Ben Peterson, also competed in both the 1972 and 1976 Summer Olympics, also winning gold (1972) and silver (1976) medals in freestyle wrestling. Leroy Kemp
Leroy (Lee) P. Kemp, Jr. (born Darnell Freeman; December 24, 1956) is a former American freestyle and folkstyle wrestler. Kemp would achieve success at the high school, collegiate, and international levels. Kemp started wrestling in only the 9th grade at Chardon High School, in Chardon, Ohio and by the end of his high school career had compiled two undefeated seasons, while winning two Ohio state titles. His first state title included wins over the defending state champion and the previous years' state runnerup. Shortly after graduating from high school, Kemp was one of only four American Junior wrestlers that recorded a dual meet win against a tough Junior Soviet team on their Ohio stop of an eight city United States tour, which resulted in 80 total matches being contested. Lee also won the prestigious Junior National Freestyle Tournament in July of that same year defeating a future 3-time NCAA Champion in the finals.
