Omar Sahnoun ( ar, عمر سحنون; 18 August 1955 – 21 April 1980) was a French professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Football career Sahnoun was born in Guerrouma, Algeria the son of a harki, and his family settled in Beauvais, France in 1962. Ten years later, at only 17, he made his professional debuts with FC Nantes, under Jean Vincent. A talented offensive player, he appeared however intermittently for the club due to heart problems, only posting two productive seasons in seven years, especially 1976–77 where he scored 15 times in 32 matches, as the Pays de la Loire team won the fourth Ligue 1 title in their history. Sahnoun gained six caps for France, his debut coming on 23 February 1977 in a friendly with West Germany, in Paris. The Stade Marcel-Saupin is a sports complex in the city of Nantes ( Loire-Atlantique), France. It was opened in 1937 under the name Stade Malakoff, and was used primarily by Stade nantais université club for rugby union, then became the stadium of FC Nantes after World War II until the club moved to the Stade de la Beaujoire in 1984. History At first, the stadium did not have lights for night matches; these were not installed until 1957. There was room for 14,000 spectators, but there were only 1,200 seats. When FC Nantes was promoted to Ligue 1, the stadium was renovated and enlarged for 25,000 spectators. Oscar Víctor Trossero (15 September 1953 – 12 October 1983) was an Argentine football striker. Playing career He started his career with Boca Juniors but soon left for Racing Club and then Unión de Santa Fe. He played in France where he was quite successful, scoring 48 goals in 114 appearances with FC Nantes, AS Monaco FC and Montpellier HSC.
