Louise Ekland (born 22 July 1978) is a British television presenter active on the French media. After presenting on France Télévisions, BFM TV and the M6 Group, she joined France 3 in 2017. Television career From 2005 to 2006, Louise Ekland presented ''Le big show'' on Game One and ''Play hit'' from 2006 to 2007. In late 2007, she joined Direct 8 to present ''On aura tout vu'' in the early evening. From 2007 to 2008, she presented ''M6 music hits flash'' on M6 from Monday to Friday in the early morning and then the chronicle ''Le Morning''. In 2008, she joined France Télévisions to present on France 2 the program ''Cote & Match'', dedicated to lottery games with sport prognostics of the Française des Jeux. ''La Tête et les Jambes'' () is a French game show which was broadcast from October 20 1960 to September 15 1975 to June 26 1978. It was created by Jacques Antoine in 1957 as a sequence in the show Télé Match, it was presented by Pierre Bellemare. Principle of the game show The game combines two competitors: a competitor ("the head") has to answer complex questions on a specific topic. In a case of failure, a high-level competitor ("legs"), must catch up with their opponent by performing a minimum performance to allow him to stay in the game. If one competitor reaches the end of the 24 questions (6 questions per week for 4 weeks), they will earn 100,000 francs. 30 millions d'amis (English: "30 million friends") is a French television program, a French monthly magazine with its posters, and a French foundation: the Fondation 30 Millions d'Amis. All three focus on pets, especially cats, dogs, horses, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, mice, canaries, parakeets, parrots, terrarium reptiles, goldfish, aquarium fish, and other exotic pets, but also wild animals like for example, bonobos and cheetahs. Television program The first episode of the program, initiative of the French journalist Jean-Pierre Hutin, who was worried about the fate of pets, was broadcast on 6 January 1976 on TF1. ''Aujourd'hui'' (, ''Today'') was a daily newspaper which styled itself as "independent" and which was created in August 1940 by Henri Jeanson, to replace ''le Canard enchaîné'' under agreement with the Germans. The first issue appeared on 10 September 1940. In November 1940, the German authorities pressured the director into taking a public position against the Jews and in favour of politics of collaboration with the Vichy regime. Jeanson resigned, and was succeeded by the journalist Georges Suarez. ''Aujourd'hui'' was far from innocent in its pursuit of those responsible for the 1940 defeat of France, resorting to the myth of the "clean sweep of the broom" in its notorious Anglophobia. It began to reflect the narrative of Marshal Philippe Pétain and of German propaganda.
