Primeira Liga
The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it is contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division. Founded in 1934 as Campeonato da Liga da Primeira Divisão, it was named Campeonato Nacional da Primeira Divisão from 1938 until 1999, when it was changed to its current naming. Over 70 teams have competed in the Primeira Liga, but only five have been crowned champions. Atlético Clube de Portugal is a Portuguese club, located in the city of Lisbon, more precisely in the parish of Alcântara. It was founded on 18 September 1942 due to the merger of two clubs of Alcântara (Carcavelinhos Football Club) and Santo Amaro (União Foot-Ball Lisboa). Francisco "Paco" González (born 16 June 1951) is a Paraguayan former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Playing career González started appearing professionally for Belenenses in 1972, scoring sixteen goals in twenty-six matches throughout the 1972–73 Primeira Divisão season; notably netting twice on his debut against CUF Barreiro on 10 September. He remained with the club for a total of five campaigns, with fifty-eight goals coming across one hundred and twenty-nine matches; though none were scored in his final season of 1976–77. Manuel Fernandes (footballer, Born 1951)
Manuel José Tavares Fernandes (born 5 June 1951) is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a striker, and a coach. One of the country's most prolific goalscorers, his playing career was mainly associated with Sporting, which he later also coached. At 386 goals in all official competitions, he is the second-highest goalscorer in the club's history. Over 19 seasons, in which he also represented two other clubs, Fernandes amassed Primeira Liga totals of 485 matches and 241 goals. Teófilo Juan Cubillas Arizaga (; born 8 March 1949) is a Peruvian former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He was selected as Peru's greatest ever player in an IFFHS poll, in which he was also included in the world's Top 50. He was renowned for his technique, shooting ability and free kick ability. Tamagnini Manuel Gomes Batista (born 20 November 1949), known as Nené (), is a retired Portuguese professional footballer. A prolific striker, he played his entire career with Benfica, appearing in nearly 600 official games for the club and winning 19 titles, a record for several years. 1976 Taça De Portugal Final
The 1976 Taça de Portugal Final was the final match of the 1975–76 Taça de Portugal, the 36th season of the Taça de Portugal, the premier Portuguese football cup competition organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The match was played on 13 June 1976 at the Estádio das Antas in Porto, and opposed two Primeira Liga sides: Boavista and Vitória de Guimarães. Boavista were the defending champions, and they successfully defended their title defeating Vitória de Guimarães 2–1 to claim the Taça de Portugal for a second time.
