Margrethe II Of Denmark
Margrethe II (; Margrethe Alexandrine Þórhildur Ingrid, born 16 April 1940) is Queen of Denmark. Having reigned as Denmark's monarch for over 50 years, she is Europe's longest-serving current head of state and the world's only incumbent female monarch following the death of Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. Born into the House of Glücksburg, a cadet branch of the House of Oldenburg, Margrethe is the eldest child of Frederick IX of Denmark and Ingrid of Sweden. She became heir presumptive to her father in 1953, when a constitutional amendment allowed women to inherit the throne. Margrethe succeeded her father upon his death on 14 January 1972. On her accession, she became the first female monarch of Denmark since Margrethe I, ruler of the Scandinavian kingdoms in 1375–1412 during the Kalmar Union. Brian Jensen (footballer, Born 1975)
Brian Paldan Jensen (born 8 June 1975) is a Danish retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently the first team goalkeeping coach at Shrewsbury Town. He played more than 300 English league games for Burnley and West Bromwich Albion. Jensen started his career with Danish lower-league club B.93, before joining Dutch Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar in 1997. He made his senior breakthrough with West Bromwich Albion, playing a total of 50 games for the club. He joined Burnley in 2003 and played more than 300 games in all competitions, helping the club win promotion to the top-flight Premier League in 2009. Ernestine Nyrop
Ernestine Nyrop (1888–1975) was a Danish textile artist and fresco painter who is remembered for decorating churches in Denmark and Sweden. In 1930, she published a series of traditional Danish sewing and weaving patterns in ''Danske Mønstre til Syning og Vævning I-II''. From 1937 to 1959, Nyrop contributed actively to Dansk Paramenthandel, an organization devoted to ensuring high-quality standards for textile art in churches. Margrete Drejer
Margrete Tora Drejer (1889–1975) was a Danish painter and textile artist who is remembered for the important part she played in teaching the art and history of sewing and textile decoration to women of all ages. Her own creations include textiles for churches as well as flags and banners. Biography Born on 13 October 1889 in Copenhagen, Margrete Tora Drejer was the daughter of the timber merchant Jens Nielsen Drejer (1845–1914) and Marie Hansen (1859–1943). She was brought up in a home on Amager, where both her mother and her grandmother were skilled embroiderers. Her elder sister, Valborg, was trained by Kristiane Konstantin-Hansen and Johanne Bindesbøll. In 1921, she moved with her mother and sister to Brønshøj where she lived for the rest of her life. Clara Pontoppidan (23 April 1883 – 22 January 1975), also known as Clara Wieth, was a Danish actress. She worked mainly in Swedish and Danish silent films, including ''A Victim of the Mormons'' (Denmark, 1911). Ann Pernille Vermund Tvede (born 3 December 1975) is a Danish architect ( MAA) and politician known for co-founding and being the leader of the national-conservative political party Nye Borgerlige from 2015 until 2023. Martin Jørgensen
Lars Martin Jørgensen (; born 6 October 1975) is a Danish former professional footballer played as a midfielder or defender. He works as talent manager for AGF. Jørgensen amassed 102 caps and scored 12 goals for the Denmark national team. He is the only player that has represented Denmark at three FIFA World Cups. He has also played at two European Championship tournaments. After Denmark's elimination from the 2010 World Cup, Jørgensen announced his retirement from the national team. Ole Tobiasen (born 8 July 1975) is a Danish football manager and former player. He is an assistant manager with the Dutch club Heerenven. As a player, Tobiasen played as a right-back or centre-back for a number of clubs in Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway.
