The 1972–73 1. Slovenská národná hokejová liga season was the 4th season of the 1. Slovenská národná hokejová liga, the second level of ice hockey in Czechoslovakia alongside the 1. Česká národní hokejová liga. 12 teams participated in the league, and HKM Zvolen, TJ Lokomotíva Bučina Zvolen won the championship. HC Prešov Penguins, TJ ZPA Prešov and HK Trnava, VTJ Dukla Trnava relegated. Ice Hockey
Ice hockey (or simply hockey) is a team sport played on ice skates, usually on an ice skating rink with lines and markings specific to the sport. It belongs to a family of sports called hockey. HC '05 Banská Bystrica
Hockey Club '05 Banská Bystrica is a professional Slovak ice hockey club based in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. They won 3 times Slovakian hockey league and 4 times Slovak 1. Liga, second–level ice hockey league in Slovakia. The team is nicknamed ''Barani'', which means Rams in English. HC Vítkovice Ridera is an ice hockey club based in Vítkovice (Ostrava), Vítkovice, the Moravia, Moravian-part of Ostrava, in the Czech Republic, competing in the Czech Extraliga. HC Motor České Budějovice is a professional men's ice hockey club, based in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. Piráti Chomutov is a Czech ice hockey team from Chomutov, Czech Republic. Established as ČSK Chomutov in 1945, the team has played in Chomutov through numerous team name changes and elevations/relegations in the Czechoslovak and Czech hockey leagues. HK Martin
HK Martin is a professional ice hockey team playing in the second highest league ( Slovak 1. Liga) in Slovakia. History The club was established in 1932 as Slávia Martin. Later the name was changed to Sokol, ŠK, ZŤS, Hutník, Martimex ZŤS, Martimex and MHC Martin (2000–2010).
