1969–70 Greek Football Cup
The 1969–70 Greek Football Cup was the 28th edition of the Greek Football Cup. The competition culminated with the Greek Cup Final, held at Lysandros Kaftanzoglou Stadium, on 28 June 1970. The match was contested by Aris and PAOK, with Aris winning by 1–0. Calendar ''From the last qualifying round onwards:'' Last qualifying round • The last 16 of previous season's Cup qualified for the 2nd round. Knockout phase In the knockout phase, teams play against each other over a single match. If the match ends up as a draw, extra time will be played. Panegialios ( el, Παναιγιάλειος Γ.Σ. (''Panegialios Gymnastics Club'', referring to Aigialeia, a subprefecture covering the northeastern part of Achaea) is a football club based in Aigio, Greece. Panegialios has a long tradition in Greek football championships and has several appearances in the Greek Super League (former A' Ethniki), 2nd Division and 3rd Division. Panthrakikos Football Club ( el, Α.Π.Σ. Πανθρακικός) is a Greek football club based in Komotini, Thrace in North Eastern Greece founded in 1963. The club competed in Super League Greece during the 2008–09 season for the first time. History Early years (1963–2001) Panthrakikos F.C. was formed in the town of Komotini in 1963. Eordaikos 2007 (Εορδαϊκός 2007) (former Ptolemaida-Lignitorikhi) is a football club based in Ptolemaida, Greece. History The club named Eordaikos 2007 is following the history of Eordaikos which is one of the better known football clubs in Western Macedonia. Eordaikos was created in 1978 from the merge of two Ptolemaida teams, the team of ''Aris Ptolemaidas'' with former presence in the second division and ''Ptolemaios'', playing in the second and third division of the Greek tier and having successful runs in the Greek cup.
