Sergio Ottolina
Sergio Ottolina (23 November 1942 – 28 April 2023) was an Italian sprinter. He won a bronze medal in the 200 m at the 1962 European Athletics Championships and a silver medal in the sprint medley relay at the 1966 European Indoor Games. On 24 June 1964, he set a European record in the 200 m at 20.4 seconds that stood for three years. He competed at the 1964 and 1968 Summer Olympics in five individual and team sprint events in total, with the best achievements of seventh place in the 4 × 100 m relay (1964 and 1968) and in the 4 × 400 m relay (1968). Ottolina retired from competitions shortly before the 1972 Games due to a motorcycle accident. Ottolina died on 28 April 2023, at the age of 80. Walter Menzies Campbell, Baron Campbell of Pittenweem, (; born 22 May 1941), often known as Ming Campbell, is a British Liberal Democrat politician, advocate and former athlete. Ronald Jones (19 August 1934 – 30 December 2021) was a British track and field athlete. Career Jones represented Great Britain at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting with the 1964 Tokyo Games. He was Britain's team captain in the 1968 Mexico Games. He combined with Peter Radford, David Jones and Berwyn Jones to equal the world 4 x 110 yds world record in 1963 with 40.0 secs. Ron held the Welsh 100m record for 27 years until it was beaten by future world 110m hurdles record holder Colin Jackson with 10.29 in 1990. After his illustrious athletics career he became either the CEO or MD of three major football clubs in the English leagues. Lynn Davies
Lynn Davies CBE (born 20 May 1942) is a Welsh former track and field athlete who specialised in the long jump. He was the 1964 Olympic champion in the event. He was born in Nantymoel near Bridgend and was a member of the Cardiff Amateur Athletic Club. Davies won an Olympic gold medal in the long jump in 1964 with a mark of , earning himself the nickname "Lynn the Leap". He finished ninth in 1968, having been flag bearer at the opening ceremony. In 1964 he also competed in the 100 metres and 4×100 metres contests. He was 18th in the 1972 Olympic long jump, his selection being something of a surprise at the time. Outside the Olympics, Davies was the 1966 European champion in the long jump and was the silver medallist three years later.
