1965 RCD Cup
The RCD Cup 1965 was the first edition of the RCD Cup tournament, held in Tehran, Iran in 1965. This was a three nation tournament played in league format between Iran, Pakistan and Turkey. Aziz Aslimanesh ( fa, عزیز اصلی; 9 April 1938 – 23 April 2015) was an Iranian football goalkeeper, manager and actor. He played for Daraei F.C. and then joined Persepolis F.C. for the rest of his career. He also capped for Team Melli, where he was part of the team that won the Asian Cup in 1968. Jalal Talebi
Jalal Talebi ( fa, جلال طالبی, born 23 March 1942) is a retired Iranian football player and manager. Playing career Talebi had a very short playing career in which he played for Daraei, Taj (Esteghlal) and the Iran national football team, for which he played three matches at the 1964 Summer Olympics, and won the 1968 AFC Asian Cup. He was known for his heads up plays, his jumping abilities and his skills with the ball. A meniscus injury ended his playing career at age of 27. International goals Managerial career Talebi attended Chelsea coaching school in England for several months between 1971 and 1973. The Iranian Oghab ( fa, عقاب, meaning "Eagle") sometimes spelled as Akab and Okab missile is an unguided 230 mm (9 in) artillery rocket with a range of 34–45 km (20–28 mi). It is spin-stabilized in flight but has a proven circular error probable in excess of 500 m (1,500 ft), making it a highly inaccurate weapon. Mehrab Shahrokhi ( fa, محراب شاهرخی; February 2, 1944 – February 1, 1993) was an Iranian peoples, Iranian football (soccer), footballer. He was an Afro-Iranians, Afro-Iranian from Khuzestan Province. Hassan Habibi ( fa, حسن حبیبی, born February 7, 1939) is a retired Iranian association football player and manager. Playing career Habibi was born in Kerman, but at the age of four his family moved to Tehran, where his father found a job as a clerk for the Ministry of Health. He started his football career with Shahin F.C. and was selected to play for the national team in 1958. In 1960, he joined Taj S.C. where he played for a few seasons. In 1964, he joined PAS Tehran and played there until 1971, when he retired. He was the captain of the national teams that competed at the 1964 Summer Olympic Games, and won the silver medal at the 1966 Asian Games and the gold medal at the 1968 Asian Cup.
