1965 2. Divisjon
The 1965 2. divisjon was a Norwegian second-tier football league season. The league was contested by 16 teams in two groups, with 8 teams in each group. The two group-winners, Lisleby and IL Hødd, won promotion to the 1966 1. divisjon, while the two bottom teams from each group, Østsiden, Ørn, Årstad and Kvik, were relegated to the third tier. Team changes from 1964 The 1964 season saw Odd and Steinkjer win promotion to the top-flight. They were replaced by Brann and Raufoss, who were relegated after finishing ninth and tenth respectively in the 1964 1. divisjon. Fram and Haugar from Group A, in addition to Strømmen and Greåker from Group B, were relegated to the third tier after the 1964 season. Lisleby Fotballklubb is a multi-sports club from Fredrikstad, Norway. The team plays football and athletics at Lisleby Stadion. The club was founded as an association football club on 8 May 1920. Two years later, the club expanded with athletics, wrestling and boxing. From 1924, speed skating was also introduced. Wrestling was abandoned in 1927 and boxing in 1935. Idrettsforeningen Fram, better known as Fram Larvik to distinguish it from other sport clubs, is a sports club from Torstrand in Larvik, Norway. It has sections for association football, athletics, handball and speed skating. General history The club was founded on 15 January 1894. A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines. Rosenborg Ballklub, commonly referred to simply as Rosenborg () or RBK, is a Norwegian professional football club from Trondheim that plays in Eliteserien. The club has won a record 26 league titles, a shared record 12 Norwegian Football Cup titles and have played more UEFA matches than any other Norwegian team. RBK play their home games at the all-seater Lerkendal Stadion which has a capacity of 21,421. The club was founded as Odd in 1917 but were not allowed to play amateur league matches until 1928, when they took the present name. They reached the League of Norway in 1937–38, but were relegated to lower divisions during the 1940s. Roald Jensen
Roald Jensen (11 January 1943 – 6 October 1987), nicknamed "Kniksen", of Bergen, Norway was one of that country's most celebrated association football players. He played for SK Brann and Heart of Midlothian F.C. ("Hearts"). ''Knicksen'' is a local Bergen word meaning "juggler". Jensen was born in Bergen. From an early age, he was interested in football. He made his Brann senior-team debut in 1960, while still only 17. He made his debut on the national team the same year. Brann, with Jensen, won the league in 1961-62 and in 1963. After Brann's relegation in 1964, Jensen transferred to professional football in Scotland as Heart of Midlothian's first non-British player. While he was in Scotland, Jensen was unable to play for Norway, as the national team did not allow professional players at that time. Aurskog is a former municipality in Akershus county, Norway. The administrative centre was Aursmoen. Aurskog was the location of the Battle of Toverud.
