1963–64 In Belgian Football
The 1963–64 season was the 61st season of competitive football in Belgium. RSC Anderlechtois won their 10th Division I title. Standard Liège entered the 1963–64 European Champion Clubs' Cup as Belgian title holder and RFC Liégeois and ARA La Gantoise entered the 1963–64 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. The Belgian Cup competition resumed to allow the cup winner to enter the 1964–65 European Cup Winners' Cup, and was won by ARA La Gantoise against KFC Diest (4-2 after extra time). IFK Norrköping

Paul Van Himst (born 2 October 1943) is a Belgian former football player and a football manager who played as a forward, most notably for R.S.C. Anderlecht. Career Van Himst was nicknamed ''Polle Gazon'' (''Polle'' is Paul in Brussels dialect, and ''Gazon'' means lawn in Dutch and French) due to the large number of fouls committed on him. In 1964, he played in the Belgium-Netherlands match alongside 10 Anderlecht players after the substitution of goalkeeper Delhasse by Jean-Marie Trappeniers. Van Himst won the Belgian championship eight times, all of them with Anderlecht, the club for which he played his first professional season in 1959–60. With Anderlecht, he scored 233 goals in 457 matches (16 seasons). Wilfried Puis
Wilfried Puis (18 February 1943 in Ostend – 21 October 1981) was an Belgian football player. He played for R.S.C. Anderlecht and the Belgium national football team. Puis was praised for his speed, agility and goal kicks which made him and Paul Van Himst a perfect match. A year after he ended his football career, he died of stomach cancer at the age of 38. Club career While playing for Anderlecht, he won the Belgian Golden Shoe in 1964. In November 1971, Puis moved to rival Club Brugge. After one season, he was transferred to Lokeren.
