Bill Forester
George William Forester (August 9, 1932 β April 27, 2007) was a professional American football linebacker in the National Football League. He played 11 seasons for the Green Bay Packers ( 1953β 1963) and was selected to four Pro Bowls. He was selected to the Packers Hall of Fame in 1974. Early years Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Forester graduated from its Woodrow Wilson High School in 1949 at age 16. He was an all-city, all-state, and all-Southern fullback / linebacker for the Wildcats and played in the 1949 Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game. Ronald Earl Gassert (July 22, 1940 β October 8, 2022) was an American football defensive tackle in the National Football League for the Green Bay Packers. Gassert graduated in 1957 from Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly, New Jersey. He played college football at the University of Virginia, where he was a defensive end. Gassert was drafted by the Packers in the fourth round (56th overall) of the 1962 NFL Draft. Gary Marshall Barnes (born September 13, 1939 in Fairfax, Alabama) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Green Bay Packers, the Dallas Cowboys, the Chicago Bears, and the Atlanta Falcons. He played college football at Clemson University. Early years Barnes attended Valley High School, where he practiced football and basketball. He spent a year at Gordon Military Academy, before accepting a scholarship from Clemson University with the intention of playing both sports. Earl Roy Gros (August 29, 1940 β July 15, 2013) was an American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons . Born and raised in Louisiana, he played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge. Gros was selected in the first round of the 1962 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers and in the second round of the AFL Draft by the Houston Oilers.
