1961 Albanian Cup
1961 Albanian Cup () was the twelfth season of Albania's annual cup competition. It began in Spring 1961 with the First Round and ended in May 1961 with the Final matches. Dinamo Tirana were the defending champions, having won their sixth Albanian Cup last season. The cup was won by Partizani. The rounds were played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregated score was tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advanced. If the number of away goals was equal in both games, the match was decided by extra time and a penalty shootout, if necessary. FK Partizani Tirana
Futboll Klub Partizani, or FK Partizani for short, is an Albanian professional football club based in Tirana, that competes in the Kategoria Superiore. Founded in 1946, the club was historically affiliated to the Albanian army. Partizani's current temporary home ground is Arena Kombëtare and the newly built stadium at Partizani Complex. The club first competed in an official competition in 1947 where they won the Albania National Championship, thus being crowned the champions of Albania in their debut season as well as the following two seasons. In total the club have been national champions on 16 occasions between 1947 and 2019, which is the last time the club won the Kategoria Superiore. Klubi i Futbollit Besëlidhja Lezhë is an Albanian football club based in the northern city of Lezhë. Their home ground is the Brian Filipi Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Parë. History The club was founded in 1930 under the name ''Bardhyli Lezhë'' and participated in the Kategoria Superiore for the first time in 1937 where they finished in sixth place out of ten clubs. Flamurtari FC is a professional football club based in Vlorë, Albania. The club plays in the Kategoria e Parë, which is the second tier of football in the country. Founded in 1923, the club is one of the oldest in Albania, and it is also one of the most successful clubs, having won one Albanian Superliga title in 1991 four Albanian Cups and two Albanian Supercups. KF Apolonia is an Albanian football club based in Fier. The club was founded on 17 June 1925 and took its name from the nearby ruins of the ancient city of Apollonia. KF Tërbuni, also known as Tërbuni Pukë, is an Albanian Association football, football club based in the city of Pukë. The club's home ground is the Ismail Xhemali Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. History Early history The club was founded in 1936 but were not active until the 1940s. They first competed in a national championship in 1949, where they took part in the Albanian First Division, second tier championship. Klubi i Futbollit Elbasani is an Albanian professional football club based in the city of Elbasan, that last competed in the Kategoria e Dytë, the third tier of football in the country. History The club was formed in 1913 as Klubi Futbollit Urani Elbasan, the result of the fusion between two clubs, ''Afërdita Elbasan'' and ''Përparimi Elbasan''. KS Pogradeci ( sq, Klubi Sportiv Pogradeci) is a professional football club based in Pogradec, Albania. The club plays in the Kategoria e Dytë, which is the third tier of football in the country. KF Tomori is an Albanian football club based in the city of Berat. The club's home ground is the Tomori Stadium and they currently participate in the Kategoria e Parë. History The sport of football was introduced to the city of Berat in the early 1910s by students who had completed their studies abroad. They brought back footballs and the rules of the game from their travels which they then passed onto the locals.
