Woody Hayes
Wayne Woodrow Hayes (February 14, 1913 – March 12, 1987) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Denison University (1946–1948), Miami University in Oxford, Ohio (1949–1950), and Ohio State University (1951–1978), compiling a career college football record of 238 wins, 72 losses, and 10 ties. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1983. Don Clark (back)
Don Clark (born December 27, 1936) is a former all-star running back in the Canadian Football League. Clark played his college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Playing from 1956 to 1958, he was a member of their 1957 Rose Bowl victory and national championship. An All-American, he was drafted in the first round by the Chicago Bears, even though he was injured. Clark eventually signed with the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1959. Bob White (fullback)
Loren Robert White (born August 22, 1938) is a former American football player. He played for Ohio State in the late 1950s. White played fullback and line on defense. In 1957, he and the Buckeyes won the Big Ten Conference outright and won the 1958 Rose Bowl, 10–7, over Oregon. In 1958, he led in scoring and rushing for the Buckeyes. The 1958 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan in the 1958 Big Ten Conference football season. In its 11th and final year under head coach Bennie Oosterbaan, Michigan compiled a 2–6–1 record (1–5–1 against conference opponents), finished in eighth place in the Big Ten, and were outscored by opponents by a combined total of 211 to 132. The team got off to a promising start with a 20–19 victory over USC and a 12–12 tie with a Michigan State team that was ranked No. 2 in the Coaches Poll.
