The First Professional Football League ( bg, Първа професионална футболна лига, Parva Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as the Bulgarian First League or Parva Liga, currently known as the efbet League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league, located at the top of the Bulgarian football league system. Contested by 16 teams, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria), Second Professional Football League. PFC Marek Dupnitsa
FC Marek ( bg, ФК Марек) is a Bulgarian football club based in Dupnitsa, currently playing in the Third League, the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. It was founded in 1947 following the unification of four local clubs. Home matches take place at Bonchuk Stadium, where Marek famously defeated Bayern Munich in 1977. Bonchuk stadium has a capacity of 16,000. The team last played top-flight football during the 2014–15 season. Marek's greatest achievement is winning the 1978 Bulgarian Cup. Dimitar Milanov
Dimitar Milanov Stoyanov ( bg, Димитър Миланов Стоянов; 18 October 1928 – 1995) was a Bulgarian international footballer who played as a right winger. Club career Born in Sofia, Milanov began his career at Botev Sofia, before moving to Septemvri Sofia. In 1948 he joined CSKA Sofia. With CSKA Milanov won 10 A Group titles and three Bulgarian Cups, and became two times top scorer of the league. International career Milanov earned 39 caps for the Bulgarian national team, scoring 19 goals, between 1948 and 1959, and he competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics and 1956 Summer Olympics. Krum Yanev
Krum Ivanov Yanev ( bg, Крум Иванов Янев) (9 January 1929 – 24 August 2012) was a Bulgarian footballer who played at both professional and international levels, as a forward. Career Yanev started his career with Spartak Plovdiv. In 1948–49 season he scored four goals in four matches for Lokomotiv Plovdiv and then joined Botev Plovdiv. In 1950 Yanev joined CSKA Sofia. For the club he played 157 matches, scoring 50 goals. With CSKA Sofia, he won eight A Group titles and two Bulgarian Cups. Stefan Bozhilov Stefanov ( bg, Стефан Божилов Стефанов; 20 September 1923 – 1 February 2014) was a Bulgarian football player and coach. He usually played the position of midfielder. Career Born in Sofia, Bozhkov first started to play for a local team Sportist Hadzhi Dimitar. He made his debut on 20 September 1938, on his 15th birthday, in a game against Fortuna. During his club career he played for PFC CSKA Sofia. Bozhkov won the top Bulgarian league, the A PFG, a ten times (all with CSKA), as well as the Bulgarian Cup, three times (all with CSKA). Manol Manolov ( bg, Манол Манолов) (4 August 1925 – 16 December 2008) was a Bulgarian football defender and manager. He was born in Sofia. Manolov featured in 57 games for the Bulgaria national football team and won a bronze medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics. Between 1948 and 1962 he played in 239 matches and scored 8 goals for CSKA Sofia. He was honoured as Bulgarian Footballer of the Year in 1958.
