The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the national governing body for cricket in India. Its headquarters are situated at Cricket centre, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The BCCI is the richest governing body of cricket in the world and is part of the ''Big Three'' of international cricket, along with Cricket Australia and the England and Wales Cricket Board. Bombay Cricket Team
The Mumbai cricket team is a cricket team representing the city of Mumbai in Indian domestic cricket. The team's primary home ground is the Wankhede Stadium in South Mumbai. Manohar Hardikar
Manohar Shankar Hardikar (8 February 1936 – 4 February 1995) was an Indian Test cricketer. Hardikar represented India in two Tests against West Indies in 1958–59. He was dismissed by Roy Gilchrist off the very first ball that he faced in Test cricket. He then took a wicket with his third ball in Test cricket by dismissing Rohan Kanhai. In the second innings, he scored 32* and added 85* with G.S. Ramchand which saved India from a possible defeat. In the next Test at Kanpur, Hardikar was hit on the head by a beamer from Wes Hall. Hall had been angered by no-ball calls from the umpire Mohammad Yunus. The ball hit Hardikar behind his left ear and knocked him down. He played no more international matches but was indirectly involved in the controversy that led to the resignation of Polly Umrigar later in the series. Probir Sen
Probir Kumar "Khokhan" Sen (; 31 May 1926 – 27 January 1970) was an Indian cricketer who represented his country in 14 Tests from 1948 to 1952. He was born in an eminent business family, to Amiya Sen and Basanti Sen. Biography Probir Sen, known as "Khokhan", was the first Bengali to represent India in Test matches, and the first Bengali to keep wickets for India. His agility behind the stumps was beyond doubt, with 20 catches and 11 stumpings. Sen played his first first-class cricket game representing Bengal in 1943, when he was only 17 years old and just out of school at La Martiniere, Calcutta. A stocky right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman, Sen first toured with the Indian team in 1947–48 in Australia where he was to act as the reserve keeper to Jenni Irani. The Odisha cricket team (known as Orissa until 2011) is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Odisha. It is in the elite group of the Ranji Trophy. The Madhya Pradesh cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It competes in the Ranji Trophy. History Holkar cricket team A Central India team competed in the Ranji Trophy between 1934–35 and 1939–40, playing 12 matches. In 1941, Holkar entered the competition, organised and managed by King Yashwantrao Holkar II belonging to the Holkar dynasty of the Marathas.
