Robert Norwood Clemens (born August 3, 1933) is a former fullback in the National Football League (NFL). The University of Toledo (UToledo or UT) is a public research university in Toledo, Ohio. It is the northernmost campus of the University System of Ohio. Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost lineman of the offensive line on a football team's offense. The center is also the player who passes (or "snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each play. The importance of centers for a football team has increased, due to the re-emergence of 3–4 defenses. According to Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome, "you need to have somebody who can neutralize that nose tackle. If you don't, everything can get screwed up. Fred Baer
Frederick N. Baer (July 2, 1932 – March 21, 2007) was an American football player. He played at the fullback position for the University of Michigan from 1952 to 1954. He was chosen as the Most Valuable Player on the 1954 Michigan Wolverines football team. Early years Baer's home town was La Grange, Illinois. He attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois. He played fullback for the Fenwick Friars in the Chicago Catholic League during the 1949 and 1950 football seasons; in 1949, he played in the same backfield with 1953 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Lattner. Baer and Lattner were both later inducted in the Chicago Catholic League Hall of Fame. University of Michigan Baer enrolled at Michigan in 1951. Art Walker (gridiron Football)
Arthur D. Walker, Jr. (November 24, 1933 – May 26, 1973) was an American football player. He was an All-American at the University of Michigan in 1954 and played seven seasons of professional football with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League from 1955-1961. Early years Walker, an African-American who grew up four miles east of South Haven, Michigan, attended South Haven High School where he was an All-Big Seven Conference tackle and president of the student council. Ed Culpepper
Ed Culpepper (born Robert Edward Culpepper) (January 21, 1934 – January 9, 2021) was a Tackle (American football)#Defensive tackle, defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He played two seasons with the Chicago Cardinals (NFL, 1920–59), Chicago Cardinals before moving with the team to St. Louis, Missouri before the 1960 NFL season. Culpepper was later selected in the 1961 NFL Expansion Draft by the Minnesota Vikings and would play for the team during the 1961 NFL season. He would play his final two professional seasons with the Houston Oilers of the American Football League.
