The 1952 Isle of Man TT, Isle of Man Tourist Trophy was the start of Bob McIntyre (motorcycle racer), Bob McIntyre's association with the Isle of Man, when he came second in the Junior Clubman TT that year. Irishman Reg Armstrong won his first Senior TT event as well as coming in second in the Junior TT race on a Norton (motorcycle), Norton. Armstrong, as a Norton works rider, was back-up to Geoff Duke who came first in the Junior race. Snaefell Mountain Course
The Isle of Man TT Mountain Course or ''TT Course'' is a street and public rural road circuit located in the Isle of Man, used for motorcycle racing. The motorcycle ''TT Course'' is used principally for the Isle of Man TT Races and also the separate event of the Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling for the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT Races held in September of each year. The Isle of Man TT or Tourist Trophy races are an annual motorcycle racing event run on the Isle of Man in May/June of most years since its inaugural race in 1907. The event is often called one of the most dangerous racing events in the world as many competitors have died. Maurice Cann (23 March 1911 – February 1989) was a British former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He entered his first Manx Grand Prix in 1931, and in 1938 competed in his first Isle of Man TT. Cann won the 1948 Lightweight TT aboard a Moto Guzzi. He competed from 1949 to 1952 in the Grand Prix world championships. Phillip Eugene Carter is an American lawyer, writer, and former officer in the United States Army. Carter was a founding member of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, and he also served as a principal of the Truman National Security Project. He was senior fellow and counsel at the Center for a New American Security, and director of the CNAS research program on the Military, Veterans & Society. Beginning September 2018, he served as the Director of the Personnel & Resources Program at the Homeland Security Operational Analysis Center in Washington, D.C. Ken Mudford
Ken Mudford (17 April 1923 – 17 May 2004) was a New Zealand professional Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He competed in the FIM motorcycle Grand Prix world championships from 1951 to 1953 and was a member of the New Zealand team that competed in the Isle of Man tourist trophy races. Mudford is notable for winning the 350 class at the 1953 Ulster Grand Prix when the Norton factory racing team asked him to replace the injured Ray Amm. Mudford rode to victory ahead of AJS riders Bob McIntyre and Rod Coleman. George Brown (motorcyclist)
George Brown (1912-1979) was born in Nottingham, England. Known primarily as a motorcycle racer, he has been called " the father of British sprinting". Brown raced a variety of bikes but is most closely associated with the Vincent Motorcycles, Vincent brand. For a time he worked at Vincent, where he headed up their Experimental department and raced the factory-backed single and V-twin bikes. Brown left Vincent to establish his own motorcycle shop and as a sideline built high-performance sprint bikes that he rode to several national and international records. Bill Lomas (8 March 1928 – 14 August 2007) was an English Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He was a two-time World Champion and a two-time Isle of Man TT winner.
