B Division Supplementary Cup
The Supplementary Cup was a Scottish football competition open to teams in the B Division, firstly in the Southern League during season 1945–46 and when full peacetime football returned the following season, the Scottish League between seasons 1946–47 and 1951–52. The competition never had a set format apart from a two-legged final when the competition was continued by the Scottish League. History The Supplementary Cup was organised by clubs in the B Division of the Southern League to dovetail the end of the league season in February. The competition was launched to accommodate clubs in the B Division who were faced with the prospect of a minimum 32 game campaign of league and cup fixtures. With crowds of over 15,000 attending matches, it prompted the Scottish League to continue the competition when full peacetime football returned the following season. The Fife Cup is a Scottish regional football competition for clubs in the historic county of Fife. The competition was founded by the Fifeshire Football Association in 1882. The competition was originally known as the "Fifeshire Cup" from 1882–1896 and the "Fife and District Cup" between 1896 and 1900. It also run on league lines between 1903 and 1905 called the "Fifeshire League" before its current name. The current holders are Dunfermline Athletic who won the 2018 –19 competition. Deveronvale Football Club are a senior association football club currently playing the Highland Football League in Scotland. They were founded in 1938 and play their football at the Princess Royal Park in the town of Banff, (formerly Banffshire, now officially Aberdeenshire), Scotland. The club was formed in 1938 when Deveron Valley and Banff Rovers joined together. The name comes from the River Deveron, which has its mouth at Banff. After they were formed, it took them one year to get into the Highland League. In August 1939, Deveronvale played their first league game. Their first win came a month later. In 1948 Deveronvale signed James ‘Jimmy’ Williamson from Dunipace Juniors, Jimmy would go on to play for Deveronvale for 7 years and in the process set the record for highest number of individual goals in the Highland League at 197 goals.
