1931 Norwegian Football Cup
The 1931 Norwegian Football Cup was the 30th season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The tournament was open for all members of NFF, except those from Northern Norway. The final was played at Lovisenlund in Larvik on 18 October 1931, and was contested by ten-time former winners Odd and Mjøndalen, who also played in the final in 1924, which they lost. Odd won the final 4–2, and secured their eleventh title, which also was their last title in 69 years, before Odd again won the Norwegian Cup in 2000. Ørn were the defending champions, but were eliminated by Gjøa in the third round. Football Association Of Norway
The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the men's and women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien and Toppserien). The current president of NFF is Lise Klaveness. By 1 January 2004, there were 1,814 clubs organized in Norway and 373,532 registered players. It is the largest sports federation in Norway. The NFF joined FIFA in 1908, and UEFA in 1954. The NFF was part of an unsuccessful joint bid with the SvFF, the DBU and the SPL to host the UEFA Euro 2008 championship. The SvFF invited the NFF to join them in bidding for the UEFA Euro 2016 championship. Bygdø Monolitten Idrettslag is a Norway, Norwegian sports club from Bygdøy and Skøyen, Frogner, Oslo. It has sections for association football, team handball, floorball and badminton. History The club was founded on 29 May 1914 under the name ''Djerv''. The name was changed to ''Skøien BK'' in 1915 and to ''Skøien IF'' as the club started to participate in non-ball games. However the name was changed to ''Bygdø BK'', "Bygdø Ball Club", in 1927. The club added Nordic skiing in 1923, track and field in 1929 and bandy in 1934. All these were later abolished. Brodd Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club from Stavanger. The club was founded on 25 April 1913 as ''BK Brodd''. It participated in competitions for the first time in 1915, and reached the inaugural League of Norway in 1937–38. In 1940 it merged with the former AIF club ''Arbeidernes TIL'' and took the name ''IL Brodd''. Hamarkameratene is a professional association football team from Hamar, Norway. It was established in 1946 as a merger between Briskebyen Fotballag (established in 1918 as Freidig) and Hamar Arbeideridrettslag. In 1970, the team qualified for the First Division, and has since been in the top three flights of Norwegian football. They play their home games at Briskeby Arena, built by the club between 1934 and 1936. Early years Briskebyen Fotballag Freidig was established on 10 August 1918 as a local team for Briskebyen in what was then the municipality of Vang. The prerequisite for joining the team was being able to pay for the football. At the time there was a severe lack of pitches in Hamar, and the club would to begin with often sneak into unused venues and play until they were chased by the groundskeeper. Sportsklubben Brann (commonly known as Brann, and less often as SK Brann) is a Norwegian professional football club, founded 26 September 1908, from Bergen.
