1930–31 French Rugby Union Championship
The 1930-31 French Rugby Union Championship of first division was won by le Rugby club toulonnais, Toulon, which defeated Lyon OU in the final. The Championship was contested by 40 clubs divided in 8 pools. This season was unusual because 12 teams, including some of the more prestigious, were excluded from the tournament by Championship, and found the (Union française de rugby amateur) that arrange their championship. They were: Aviron Bayonnais Rugby Pro, Bayonne, Biarritz olympique, Biarritz, Stade bordelais, SBUC, Union sportive carcassonnaise XV, Carcassonne (demi-finaliste 1930), Football club de Grenoble rugby, Grenoble, Limoges, FC Lyon, Stade nantais université club, Stade Nantais, Section Paloise, Pau, USA Perpignan, US Perpignan, Stade Français and Stade Toulousain, Toulouse. French Rugby Federation
The French Rugby Federation (french: Fédération Française de Rugby (''FFR'')) is the governing body for rugby union in France. It is responsible for the France national rugby union team, French national team and the National Rugby League (France), Ligue nationale de rugby that administers the country's professional leagues.
