Monarchy Of Norway
The Norwegian monarch is the head of state of Norway, which is a constitutional and hereditary monarchy with a parliamentary system. The Norwegian monarchy can trace its line back to the reign of Harald Fairhair and the previous petty kingdoms which were united to form Norway; it has been in unions with both Sweden and Denmark for long periods. The present monarch is King Harald V, who has reigned since 17 January 1991, succeeding his father, Olav V. The heir apparent is his only son, Crown Prince Haakon. The crown prince undertakes various public ceremonial functions, as does the king's wife, Queen Sonja. The crown prince also acts as regent in the king's absence. Håkon Randal
Håkon Randal (9 July 1930 in Gulen – 22 July 2012) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Hordaland in 1973, and was re-elected on two occasions. From February to June 1982 he was Vice President of the Storting. He chaired the local party chapter in Bømlo from 1967 to 1971 and the county chapter from 1977 to 1979. Between 1977 and 1984 he was a member of the central party board; from 1980 he was also deputy party leader. His career in politics ended with the post of County Governor of Hordaland, which he held from 1984 to 1998. Annasif Døhlen (23 June 1930 – 5 January 2021) was a Norwegian sculptor. Biography Born in Stavanger on 23 June 1930, Døhlen was a daughter of sculptor Aimée Døhlen and Herman Døhlen. Trygve Mikkjel Heyerdahl Reenskaug (born 21 June 1930) is a Norwegian computer scientist and professor emeritus of the University of Oslo. He formulated the model–view–controller (MVC) pattern for graphical user interface (GUI) software design in 1979 while visiting the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC).
