Antonín Maleček
Antonín Maleček (1909 – 14 September 1964) was a Czechoslovak international table tennis player. He won three medals at the World Table Tennis Championships in the team events. This culminated in a gold medal at the 1932 World Table Tennis Championships for Czechoslovakia. He also won two English Open titles. He kept a scrapbook on the history of Czech table tennis and died in 1964. Magda Gál
Magda Gál (married name Házi) (1907-1990), was a female Hungarian international table tennis player. Table tennis career She was a prolific World Table Tennis Championships medal winner and secured eight silver medals and twelve bronze medals from the 1929 World Table Tennis Championships to the 1936 World Table Tennis Championships. Gál came short of a gold medal for two reasons; first the fact that with various doubles partners she was unable to overcome the six times world champion pairing of Mária Mednyánszky and Anna Sipos, and secondly the war effectively ended her chances to compete at world level. She did however continue to play in the United States. She also won two English Open titles. Sándor Glancz (14 July 1908 in Budapest – 17 January 1974 in New York City) was a male international table tennis player from Hungary. Table tennis career From 1928 to 1934 he won several medals in singles, doubles, and team events in the Table Tennis European Championships. His fourteen World Championship medals included four gold medals; one in the doubles at the 1933 World Table Tennis Championships with Viktor Barna and three in the team event. He also won four English Open titles. Alfred Peter Liebster (14 March 1910, Vienna – 2000, Camden, London, England) was a male former international table tennis player from Austria. Table tennis career From 1928 to 1938 he won sixteen medals in singles, doubles, and team events in the World Table Tennis Championships including two gold medals. Gertrude 'Trude' Wildam was a female Austrian international table tennis player. She six World Table Tennis Championships medals; she won a bronze at the 1926 World Table Tennis Championships with Eduard Freudenheim, three years later at the 1929 World Table Tennis Championships she won another bronze in the mixed doubles with Alfred Liebster and two silver medals in the women's singles and doubles with Fanchette Flamm.
