1926 Norwegian Football Cup
The 1926 Norwegian Football Cup was the 25th season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The tournament was open for all members of NFF, except those from Northern Norway. Odd won their 10th title, having beaten Ørn in the final. Brann were the defending champions, but were eliminated by Urædd in the quarterfinal. Football Association Of Norway
The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the men's and women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien and Toppserien). The current president of NFF is Lise Klaveness. By 1 January 2004, there were 1,814 clubs organized in Norway and 373,532 registered players. It is the largest sports federation in Norway. The NFF joined FIFA in 1908, and UEFA in 1954. The NFF was part of an unsuccessful joint bid with the SvFF, the DBU and the SPL to host the UEFA Euro 2008 championship. The SvFF invited the NFF to join them in bidding for the UEFA Euro 2016 championship. The NFF and Norwegian politicians expressed support for such a proposal, but Euro 2016 was eventually awarded to France. SK Hardy
Sportsklubben Hardy was a multi-sports club from Bergen, Norway. The club had sections for athletics, football, handball, skiing and speed skating. The football team played top division league football from 1937 to 1948. During a period in the 1930s, Hardy was considered to be the best team from Bergen. They won the Bergen league championship (in Norwegian: Kretsserien) in 1933 and 1936. In 1935, they reached the semi-finals of the Norwegian Cup where they lost 3–0 against Fredrikstad at Brann Stadion in a game attended by 17,000 spectators. Two of Norway's bronze medal-winning players from the 1936 Summer Olympics, Odd Frantzen and Magdalon Monsen, represented Hardy at the time. Lyn Fotball
Lyn 1896 Fotballklubb () is a Norwegian football club and a department of the sports club Ski- og Fotballklubben Lyn based in Oslo, whose members also participate in Nordic skiing and orienteering. Until 2010, SFK Lyn had two football departments, one professional section and one amateur section. After the professional football department, FK Lyn, was bankrupted in 2010, the fans decided to support the amateur department, Lyn Fotball, instead. With the help of some of the old FK Lyn players, Lyn Fotball has won three consecutive promotions, and are playing in the 3. divisjon. The team plays its home matches at Bislett Stadium, and the head coach is currently Jan Halvor Halvorsen. Lyn was founded in 1896 and is one of the oldest football clubs in Norway. Idrettsforeningen Fram, better known as Fram Larvik to distinguish it from other sport clubs, is a sports club from Torstrand in Larvik, Norway. It has sections for association football, athletics, handball and speed skating. General history The club was founded on 15 January 1894. Sandnes Ulf is a Norwegian association football club from Sandnes, Rogaland, currently playing in the 1. divisjon, the second highest division in the Norwegian football league system. Sportsklubben Falk is a Norwegian sports club from Horten, Vestfold. It has sections for association football and handball. It was founded in 1917 as a football club; the handball came in the 1940s. The club had an athletics section from 1920 to 1924, when it broke out and formed the club ''Horten FIK''. Frigg Oslo Fotballklubb is a Norwegian sports club from Majorstua in Oslo. It has sections for association football and bandy. History It was founded on 17 May 1904 as ''SK Frigg'', named after Frigg of Norse mythology. It was merged on 21 April 1954 with ''SK Varg''. It took the name ''Frigg Oslo FK'' in 1990.
