Club Atlético Huracán () is an Argentine sports club from the Parque Patricios neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. The club is notable for its football team, that currently plays in the Primera División, the top level of the Argentine football league system. Its home stadium is the Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó. Huracán was founded on 1 November 1908 in the Nueva Pompeya neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. The club's name and nickname (''Globo'', literally "Balloon") comes from the ''Huracán'' ("Hurricane") balloon flown by Jorge Newbery in 1909. Its supporters are called ''los Quemeros'' ("the Burners") because the stadium is located in a former garbage burning area. Since its establishment, Huracán has won 13 domestic titles (including five Primera División championships, and most recently the 2014 Supercopa Argentina). Cesáreo Onzari
Cesáreo Onzari (February, 1903 – January, 1964) was an Argentine footballer who played as a left winger. He made his entire career in Huracán, playing from 1921 until his retirement in 1933. He was the first footballer known to have scored directly on a corner kick without an assist in professional play. Biography Onzari started his career playing for clubs Sportivo Boedo and Mitre. In 1921 he made his debut at Huracán, where he played as a left winger. Although Onzari made a successful career in football, his peak of popularity was on October 2, 1924, during a friendly match between Argentina and Uruguay national teams, played at Estadio Sportivo Barracas. When only 15 minutes had been played, Onzari made a goal from a corner kick, with no other player touching the ball before scoring. Mario Fortunato
Mario Francisco Fortunato (1904 – 10 January 1970) was an Argentine football player and manager. Fortunato won three championships as a player with Boca Juniors and went on to lead the club to four Primera División and twp domestic cups as manager. Playing career Club Fortunato began playing for Boca Juniors in 1925, he made his debut on 1 September in a 2–0 win against Palermo. He played for the club until 1926, winning three titles in those years: Copa de Competencia Jockey Club (1925), Primera División (1926) and Copa Estímulo (also in 1926). In 1927 he joined Huracán where he played until 1929. He returned to Boca and played 3 more games for the club in September and October 1929. Fortunato retired early due to a knee injury, but continued to play in the Argentine amateur league with Sportivo Barracas in the 1932 season. Guillermo Stábile
Guillermo Stábile (17 January 1905 – 26 December 1966) was an Argentine professional football player and manager who played as a centre forward. At club level, Stábile won two national championships with Huracán and played in Italy and France. He was the top scorer of 1930 World Cup, the inaugural iteration of the tournament. As manager, he led Argentina to victory at six South American Championships and Racing Club to three league titles. Club career Early career Stábile was born in Parque Patricios, Buenos Aires.
