''1915'' is an Australian historical drama television miniseries written by Peter Yeldham, based on Roger McDonald's 1979 novel '' 1915: A Novel of Gallipoli'', that premiered on ABC TV on 27 June 1982, and concluded on 8 August 1982. The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA), known as ScreenSound Australia from 1999 to 2004, is Australia's audiovisual archive, responsible for developing, preserving, maintaining, promoting and providing access to a national collection of film, television, sound, radio, video games, new media, and related documents and artefacts. Adrian Wright (1 July 1947 – 28 November 2015) was English Australian actor remembered for his roles in the 1970s children's television series ''Freewheelers'' and the Australian serial ''Prisoner (TV series), Prisoner'' in which he played male nurse Neil Murray, after playing an off-duty policeman in episode 10. Vince Martin (born July, 3, 1955), is a Dutch-Australian actor, editor, director, jazz singer and musician. Born in the Netherlands, he was raised in Australia where he started his career. Early life Martin was born as Vincent Markesteijn in the Netherlands about 1955, and raised in Australia from the age of 7. Career Martin began as a film editor on police drama series '' Homicide''. His editing career had begun at the age of 16 at Crawford Productions. He quickly moved on to directing television series for the same company. Maurice Fields (born Maurice Sheil, 4 August 1926 – 18 December 1995) was an Australian vaudeville performer, actor and stand-up comedian.
