1903 Tie Cup Final
The 1903 Tie Cup Final was the final match to decide the winner of the Tie Cup, the 4th. edition of the international competition organised by Argentine and Uruguayan Associations together. As its previous editions, the final was contested by two teams from Argentina, Alumni (third consecutive final contested) and Rosario A.C. (fourth consecutive final). Field Hockey
Field hockey is a team sport structured in standard hockey format, in which each team plays with ten outfield players and a goalkeeper. Teams must drive a round hockey ball by hitting it with a hockey stick towards the rival team's shooting circle and then into the goal. The match is won by the team that scores the most goals. Matches are played on grass, watered turf, artificial turf, synthetic field, or indoor boarded surface. The stick is made of wood, carbon fibre, fibreglass, or a combination of carbon fibre and fibreglass in different quantities. Plaza Jewell is the name given to Club Atlético del Rosario headquarters and sports ground. It is located in the city of Rosario in Argentina, close to Mariano Moreno bus station and Rosario Norte railway station.
