Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. AVV RAP, in the long form Amsterdamsche Voetbalvereeniging RUN, Amstels, Progress, was a Dutch football club based in Amsterdam, who played in the Netherlands Football League Championship. Pierre Georges Louis Capdeville (30 October 1899 – 24 February 1991) was a football referee from France, who controlled the 1938 FIFA World Cup Final in Paris between Italy and Hungary.
