Edvard Stjernström
Carl Edvard Stjernström (11 October 1816 – 10 February 1877) was a Swedish stage actor and theater director. In 1833, he was accepted as a student at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. From 1842 to 1850, he was employed at Nya Teatern. He was the director of the Stjernström theater Company from 1850 to 1854, director of the Mindre Teatern in Stockholm from 1854 to 1863, and the founder and manager of the Nya Teatern from 1875 to 1877. He played a significant role in 19th-century theatre in both Sweden, where his theater company was regarded to be one of the most prestigious, as well as in Finland, where his theater company was given theatre monopoly to perform from 1850 to 1853. Hedvig Charlotta Djurström (née Hoffman; 14 May 1807, Kalmar, Sweden, Kalmar – 19 May 1877, Norrköping, Sweden, Norrköping) was a Swedish stage actress. She was the managing director of the Djurström theater company in 1841-1846. Mathilda Charlotta Berwald, née ''Cohen (surname), Cohn'' (9 March 1798 in Helsinki in Finland – 3 May 1877 in Stockholm),svar.ra.seHedvig Eleonora döda/ref> was a Finnish and Swedish people, Swedish concert singer. She was later appointed official singer (Hovsångare) of the Swedish royal court. She married the Swedish concert musician Johan Fredrik Berwald in 1817. She toured with her husband and performed as a singer at his concerts. She educated her three daughters Fredrique, Julie Berwald, Julie Mathilda and :sv:Hedvig Eleonora Berwald, Hedvig Eleonora as singers. She performed with her husband and Fredrique at the Opera in Berlin for Spontini, and then for the Royal Danish family, in 1833. In 1834, she was given the title of first singer of the royal Swedish court. They toured in Finland (1842), Denmark (1844) and had a great success in Berlin (1847). Charlotte Pousette
Charlotte Pousette, née ''Nordgren'' (23 January 1832 – 28 April 1877) was a Swedish stage actress. She was a star attraction of Swedish theatre in the 1850s and 1860s and enjoyed widespread fame. Charlotte Pousette was a student of the Royal Dramatic Training Academy. She was engaged at the theatre company of Edvard Stjernström in 1852-63. As such, she was active at the ''Mindre teatern'' in Stockholm (1854–63), and performed in Finland (where the Stjernström company had theatre monopoly in 1850-53); on 15 September 1859, she performed a main role in the inauguration of the '' Stora Teatern'' in Gothenburg. She was a member of the theatre company of Wilhelm Åhman and her spouse Mauritz Pousette in 1863-74 (and a such engaged at the '' Stora Teatern'' in Gothenburg in 1869-74), and finally at the Swedish Theatre (Stockholm) in 1874-77.
