George Ede
George Matthew Ede (22 February 1834 — 13 March 1870) was an English people, English first-class cricketer and a Grand National winning jockey. A founding member of Hampshire County Cricket Club, he was the club's first Captain (cricket), captain from 1864 to 1869. In horse racing, he was one of the most successful amateur riders of his age, winning 306 races, including the 1868 Grand National. He was killed two years later from injuries sustained in the 1870 Grand National, 1870 Grand National. George Waddington (jockey)
George Waddington (; 7 September 1793 – 20 July 1869) was an English priest, traveller and church historian. Life He was the son of George Waddington (1754?-1824), vicar of Tuxford and Anne Dollond, youngest daughter of the optician Peter Dollond. He was educated at Charterhouse School from 1808 to 1811, and then entered at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he was admitted scholar in 1812. His career at the university was distinguished. He was Browne medallist for the Latin ode in 1811, and for epigrams in 1814, Davies's university scholar in 1813, and chancellor's English medallist in 1813. He graduated Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 1815, being senior optime in the mathematical tripos and the first chancellor's medallist, and in 1816 he was member's prizeman. Charles Boyce (born 1949 in Olive Branch, Mississippi), is an American cartoonist known for his syndicated comic panel '' Compu-toon''. Boyce is also known for creating the KeyPad Kid, a cartoon character used in public affairs awareness programs for training within the telecommunication industry. Biography Boyce attended the Memphis Academy of Arts in the 1960s, and in 1969 enlisted in the United States Navy. The ''Compu-toon'' strip ran in approximately 150 newspapers from 1994 until 1997. Boyce is still producing ''Compu-toon'' by way of syndication. Andrews McMeel Syndication distributes it. Boyce resides in the northwest suburbs of Chicago with his wife.
