Halta-Kajsa
Kajsa (Catarina) (1792, Agunnaryd - 1857), known as ''Halta-Kajsa'' (Limp-Kajsa), was a Swedish story teller and tradition bearer. She was an important co worker and source of information of Gunnar Olof Hyltén-Cavallius in his work of collecting old Swedish fairy tales and folk songs. Kajsa was illegitimate and therefore had no last name, and is in literature known and referred to by her nickname, Halta-Kajsa. Life She was born in the country parish of Agunnaryd in Småland as the illegitimate daughter of the farmhand Ingjerd Svensdotter by an unknown father, although the farmer Anders Persson was unofficially pointed out ha her father, and grew up with her mother and maternal grandparents in a cottage reserved for the parish destitute. She married her foster brother Johan Jönsson (1800-1842) in 1822 and lived her married life in Århult; despite their poverty, the family are described as cultivated within literature. Jeanette Granberg
Johanna "Jeanette" Charlotta Granberg (19 October 1825 – 2 April 1857), also known by her married name ''Stjernström'' and by the pseudonym of ''Georges Malméen'', was a Swedish writer, a playwright, a feminist and a translator, who wrote plays for mainly the theatre Mindre teatern in Stockholm in the mid-19th century. She was praised as a great dramatic by her contemporaries. Biography Jeanette was born child of the writer and actor Per Adolf Granberg. She was the sister of playwright and theatre director Louise Granberg. From 1849 and forward, she was active as a translator and a writer of plays for the theatre. Ernst Trygger
Ernst Trygger (27 October 1857 – 23 September 1943) was a Swedish jurist professor and conservative politician. He served as Prime Minister of Sweden from 1923 to 1924. He also served as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 1928 to 1930 in the government of Arvid Lindman. He was a member of the first chamber of the Swedish Riksdag from 1898 to 1937, and also leader of the conservatives in that chamber from 1913 to 1933. Biography Ernst Trygger was born on the island of Skeppsholmen in Stockholm, the Swedish capital. His father was military officer Alfred Trygger. Young Ernst made an astonishing career at Uppsala University, where he became Professor of Law in 1889. In 1891, Ernst Trygger married Signe Söderström, with whom he went on to have three children. In 1914 they had a large private villa built in Diplomatstaden, Stockholm, now home to the Swedish Bar Association. Elisabet Anrep-Nordin
Elisabet Anrep-Nordin (21 April 1857 – 10 August 1947), was a Swedish educator and principal of a school for blind and deaf students from 1886 to 1921. She was also elected to the city council of Vänersborg in 1910. Early life Elisabet Anrep was born in 1857 in Skultuna, the oldest daughter of the eight children of nobleman Frans Gustav Anrep and Julia Ulrika Elisabet Mörner af Morlanda. Her uncle was genealogist Johan Gabriel Anrep. She was the first woman in Sweden trained as a pedagogue for deaf students, graduating in 1877. Career Anrep-Nordin initially worked as a swim teacher at Manillaskolan, a school for the deaf, which led to her interest in becoming an educator for the blind and deaf.
