Daniel Dunklin
Daniel Dunklin (January 14, 1790 – August 25, 1844) was the List of governors of Missouri, fifth Governor of Missouri, serving from 1832 to 1836. He also served as the state's third List of lieutenant governors of Missouri, Lieutenant Governor. John Bull (congressman)
John Bull (1803February 1863) was an American clergyman and physician who represented Missouri in the U.S. Congress between 1833 and 1835. Life He was born in Virginia, studied medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, moved to Howard County, Missouri, and settled near Glasgow, Missouri. He engaged in the practice of medicine. He owned slaves. He studied theology, was ordained to the ministry and became a Methodist minister in Glasgow, Missouri. He was an unsuccessful candidate in the 1832 Missouri gubernatorial election and a presidential elector on the Jackson-Calhoun ticket in 1828. The National Republican Party, also known as the Anti-Jacksonian Party or simply Republicans, was a political party in the United States that evolved from a conservative-leaning faction of the Democratic-Republican Party that supported John Quincy Adams in the 1824 presidential election. Known initially as "Adams-Clay Republicans" in the wake of the 1824 campaign, Adams's political allies in Congress and at the state-level were referred to as "Adams's Men" during his presidency (1825–1829).
