Album information The title ''1830m'' reflects the distance from AKB48 Theater in Akihabara to Tokyo Dome, an indoor baseball stadium with over-50,000 capacity where AKB48 had performed for the first time, from August 24 to 26, 2012. It was released in two editions, a regular edition in a special box with a 48-page photobook, a bonus DVD, and a random photo, and a theater edition with 14 alternate covers, a handshake event ticket, and a photo of an AKB48/SKE48/NMB48/HKT48 member chosen at random. This is the last album to feature Team A member and the group's ace Atsuko Maeda. Reception The album debuted at number one in the Oricon weekly album charts. AKB48 (pronounced ''A.K.B. Forty-Eight'') is a Japanese idol girl group named after the Akihabara (''Akiba'' for short) area in Tokyo, where the group's theater is located. AKB48's producer, Yasushi Akimoto, wanted to form a girl group with its own theater and performing daily so fans could always see them live (which is not the case with usual pop groups giving occasional concerts and seen on television). This "idols you can meet" concept includes teams which can rotate performances and perform simultaneously at several events and "handshake" events, where fans can meet group members. It won the Grand Prix of Japan Record Awards, which was the first time a female group accomplished it. 2011 general election The participating members were chosen by AKB48's 2011 general election. Each of AKB48's 21st single " Everyday, Kachusha" contained a ballot that allows the buyer to register a vote for one of the member candidates for the group's 22nd single. Minami Takahashi
is a Japanese idol, singer, tarento and a former member of the Japanese girl idol group AKB48. She is in Team A of AKB48. She became the first of AKB48 and its sister groups. In an interview with Nippon Television in June 2010, AKB48 producer Yasushi Akimoto says she is the "eldest daughter of the 48 sisters". is the third album by the Japanese idol girl group AKB48. "Koko ni Ita Koto" was released in Japan on June 8, 2011 by King Records. There are three versions available: Limited Edition (catalog number KIZC-90117/8), Regular Edition (KIZC-117/8), and Theater Edition (NKCD-6546). While all the group's albums had been almost entirely collections of previously released material, "Koko ni Ita Koto" took a different approach.
