Sophia Magdalena Gardelius
Sophia Magdalena Gardelius (1804-1881) was a Swedish damaskweaver. She is regarded as a pioneer within the damask weaving technique of Gotland. She married a farmer of Roma parish of Gotland in 1822. When her spouse was ruined, they moved to her parents, and she began to weave and sell damask to support the family. In 1832, she advertised that she manufactured damask for commission and accepted pupils in the art. The art of weaving damask was then new and popular. Gardelius composed her own patterns by mathematic measurements, and her weaving stools were constructed to adjust to her needs to handle a thousand patterns. Gustaf Björnram

Libris 2378126 He was born in Savolax as the son of the lieutenant Per Björnram (1700–1766) and Anna Margareta Amnorin. He was a student of the Åbo University and moved to Stockholm where he became a private teacher and a secretary. Through his work as a writer for the Freemasons he came in to contact with Elis Schröderheim, who introduced him to King Gustav III of Sweden. Gustaf Björnram claimed to be able to communicate with the spirits of the dead and arranged well-attended séances frequented by the king and Prince Charles, during which he allegedly forwarded predictions about the future from the dead. Marguerite Du Londel or Dulondel (''Jeanne-Pierre-Marie–Marguerite Morel''; La Rochelle, France, 1737–1804) was a French ballerina, actress and singer (soprano). She was active in the French theater in Sweden and at that time attracted great fame. She is also known for her relationship with king Adolf Frederick of Sweden. Life Marguerite Morel was born in La Rochelle in France. She was engaged with her mother and her two sisters in the French theater company of Jeanne Du Londel and Pierre de Laynay, which was active at the Danish royal court in 1748–53. When the French theater company was contracted to perform at the Swedish royal court in 1753, Marguerite Morel initially remained in Copenhagen with her mother and sisters, before they left for Sweden to rejoin the theater in 1755. Utile Dulci
The Utile Dulci was a learned and musical Academy and Secret Society in Stockholm in Sweden. It was founded in memory of Olof von Dalin in 1766, and held its last session in 1795. History The Utile Dulci was alongside the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities the predecessor of the Swedish Academy (1786) and the Royal Swedish Academy of Music (1771), and the Utile Dulci suffered hard competition when the latter was founded. It was an important part of the Swedish culture life and, among other things, hosted public concerts. During the 1780s, it had 540 members. Royal Swedish Academy Of Music
The Royal Swedish Academy of Music ( sv, Kungliga Musikaliska Akademien), founded in 1771 by King Gustav III, is one of the Royal Academies in Sweden. At the time of its foundation, only one of its co-founder was a professional musician, Ferdinand Zellbell the Younger. The Academy is an independent organization, which acts to promote the artistic, scientific, educational and cultural development of music. Fredrik Wetterqvist is director of the Academy. The Academy consists of 170 Swedish members belonging to various spheres of the music industry and has a research committee which has been operational since 1980s. They are involved in research on Gustavian music drama, music archaeology, future developments in musical life and music in a multicultural society. The Academy also publishes various biographies, debate books, analytical writings, etc. and has been offering music students scholarships and various prizes for outstanding contributions in the field. Anna Brita Wendelius, née ''Ramklou'' (1741–1804), also known as Wendelia, was a Swedish artist and singer. She was a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music and the Utile Dulci. Anna Brita Wendelius was married to a wealthy merchant, Anders Wendelius. She was known as a non professional musician and singer, and was also a published poet.
