Märta Berendes
Märta Berendes (21 January, 1639 – 18 October, 1717), was a Swedish Baroness and diary writer. She served as ''överhovmästarinna'' (Mistress of the Robes) at the Swedish royal court from 1693 to 1717. She is the author of a diary written between 1676 and 1698, which has been published and has been the object of research. Life Märta Berendes was the daughter of the nobleman Johan Berendes (d. 1652) and Ingeborg Kurck (d. 1654). She inherited a fortune after her father's death. In 1656, she married her uncle's brother-in-law, baron Johan Sparre of Bohnerö and Walstanäs (d. 1659). She describes this marriage as happy, but her spouse was sickly, and left her a widow with two children. In 1662, she married secondly to ''riksråd'' baron Gustaf Posse af Hedensund till Arnäs (1626-1676). Magnus Stenbock
Count Magnus Stenbock (22 May 1665 – 23 February 1717) was a Swedish field marshal ('' Fältmarskalk'') and Royal Councillor. A renowned commander of the Carolean Army during the Great Northern War, he was a prominent member of the Stenbock family. He studied at Uppsala University and joined the Swedish Army during the Nine Years' War, where he participated in the Battle of Fleurus in 1690. After the battle, he was appointed lieutenant colonel, entered Holy Roman service as Adjutant General, and married Eva Magdalena Oxenstierna, daughter of statesman Bengt Gabrielsson Oxenstierna. Returning to Swedish service he received colonelcy of a regiment in Wismar, and later became colonel of the Kalmar and then Dalarna regiments. During the Great Northern War, Stenbock served under King Charles XII in his military campaigns in the Baltic and Polish fronts. Elias Brenner
Elias Brenner (18 April 1647 – 16 January 1717) was a Finnish born, Swedish artist, draftsman and antiquarian. He is especially known for his work as a portrait miniaturist and a numismatist. Biography Brenner was born in the parish of Storkyro in Ostrobothnia County, Finland. He was one of twenty children born to vicar Isaacus Henrici Brennerus and Susanna Werenberg. He first went to school in Nykarleby and Pori. In 1663, he was enrolled at Uppsala University where he first studied theology and later archeology. In 1668, he entered service as a draftsman in the Antiquity College (''Antikvitetskollegium'') which had been established at Uppsala by King Gustav II Adolf during 1667. He became a technical assistant and worked principally for Johan Hadorph (1630–1693) who was director-general of the Swedish National Heritage Board (''Riksantikvarieämbetet''). Elisabeth Lillström née ''Söderman'' (1717 – 4 April 1791) was a Swedish stage actress and opera singer.
