The Great Seal of the State of Georgia is a device that has historically been used to authenticate government documents executed by the state of Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia. The first great seal of the state was specified in the Georgia (U.S. state) Constitution, State Constitution of 1777, and its current form was adopted in 1799 with alterations in 1914. Its specifications are currently spelled out by statute. Dick Lane (Georgia Politician)
Richard Gautier Lane (June 20, 1927 – October 31, 2015) was an American politician. He was born in Atlanta. Lane served in the United States Navy during World War II. He then received his bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Georgia in 1951 and his law degrees from John Marshall Law School. Lane also went to Auburn University. He was the superintendent of the East Point, Georgia Parks and Recreation Department. Lane served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1966 to 1984 and was a Republican. Nathan Solomon Kapahukula Knight (born September 20, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the William & Mary Tribe. Early life and high school career Knight grew up in Syracuse, New York and attended Nottingham High School. As a freshman, he was a pitcher on the baseball team before deciding to focus on basketball after experiencing a growth spurt. As a senior, he averaged 14.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game and was named All-Central New York. Knight completed a postgraduate year at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, New Hampshire. Clarence Vaughn (born July 17, 1964) is a former American football safety in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins. High school years In high school, at Gage Park in Chicago, Vaughn played football, basketball and baseball. He was All-State honorable mention and a three-year football letterman starting on both sides of the ball as a running back and a linebacker. College career Vaughn played college football at Northern Illinois University where he won his 4-year football scholarship.
